We know that scientists are working every day to solve the most complex problems invent new drugs, explore space, come up with incredible technology and so on, but it turns out that there are still so many simple questions that science cannot answer. In this article, I will talk about 10 children’s questions that scientists cannot answer.
). Why are some people left-handed and other people right-handed? Science has been struggling with this question for hundreds of years. According to one of the versions genes are responsible for this. Ie If one of your parents was left-handed then chances are good that you inherited it too. According to another version, the whole hemisphere of the brain is to blame, for the right hand, the left hemisphere is responsible. If there are any problems then the left hand becomes the leading hand in addition to these versions. There are other scientists continue to argue by the way there are fewer lefties on the planet, fifteen to thirty percent of the population. There are also so-called ambidextrous. Truly unique people who are equal with both hands but there are very few such people in the world.
). Yawning – with these seemingly common occurrences, there are two inexplicable things at once. Surely you’ve noticed that if someone next to you starts yawning then you also want to do it. Like if it’s happened to you how does this strange yawning virus function? How does the desire to yawn pass from person to person? No one understands this moreover scientists cannot figure out why we on. The basic theory suggests that yawning starts with a lack of oxygen but this is just a version.
). How many years can a person live? Yes, we’ve roughly represented the average positivity of a person’s life but how many years is it possible for a person to live 150 200 or more. There is not any approximate data on this there are many record holders on the planet who have lived to 102 110 years or more. However, scientists and physicians call old age disease and not a stage of life, that is it is important for how long you can stay healthy and this issue is directly related to the development of medicine. Perhaps in the future living to be 150 years or more will be the norm.
). Why do cats purr? Usually, if a cat purrs it means that it is happy. While purring cats cannot listen to the heart or lungs. However, scientists cannot understand how cats produce these sounds according to one of the main theories cats use vocal cords to make similar vibrating sounds but this is just a hypothesis
). Everyone dreams at night but why? Scientists and psychologists are working on this problem but they cannot come to a conclusive answer. There are two main versions the first belongs to the famous Sigmund Freud, according to him dreams are suppressed desires and hidden aspirations of people that is all our dreams are not accidental and have to do with what is happening in our lives, according to another theory everything is not so interesting many scientists believe that dreams are random nervous impulses that have nothing to do with what we feel or experience.
). How do birds determine where to fly? We have known since childhood that birds fly south in the winter and in spring they return back but how do they navigate in the air without GPS and Google Maps. Scientists have even conducted special experiments when they took birds from their native nests and took them to an unknown territory hundreds of kilometers away. The result the birds returned exactly to their place of origin. The most basic version is that birds use the magnetic field of the earth in order to be able to navigate in an unmistakable way but this version is not final and that’s why many species fly with a wedge. Scientists found out, the fact is that such a construction helps to catch the twists of the air formed by the wings, flying ahead of the bird and those behind it it’s easier to fly. In addition, such a scheme does not complicate the survey and every bird can easily follow the leader.
). Why do we have different blood groups? Everyone knows that people have four blood groups but what they need from an evolutionary point of view is not entirely clear. Blood groups differ in antigens in blood cells scientists do not know why these antigens are different. There is an assumption that they have something to do with diseases and immunity, for example, it turned out that people with the third blood group are more susceptible to e.coli and those who have Group one you can say have immunity to malaria. Either way, each person needs to know what kind of blood group they have, so if you don’t know then please find this out.
). Not only do birds have a built-in compass it is also found in cows although it would seem why? Not so long ago scientists noticed an interesting feature of cows. All of them when they eat or drink turn their head directly north or south. This is observed on all continents regardless of terrain weather or other factors. Where did this magnetic compass come from in cows? No one knows maybe the cows are hiding something from us.
). There is a known fact that animals can anticipate an earthquake? Over the past few decades, more than a few examples have happened when a day or a few hours before an earthquake the animals in that area began to go crazy. They rushed in different directions and made strange sounds and all of this despite the fact that today not one device created by man can accurately predict an earthquake. To establish why animals filled earthquakes differently is extremely difficult since it would be necessary to reproduce a real earthquake for the experiment. There is an opinion that the whole fault is charged particles released into the air before the earthquake but this hypothesis still needs to be checked. In regions where earthquakes are possible scientists recommend looking at animal behavior.
). What is at the bottom of the ocean? A simple childish question that can confound all the scientists on the planet. The thing is that to date only five percent of the ocean floor has been studied the remaining 95% is covered in a mystery that is we cannot even imagine what other creatures are hiding in the ocean’s depths.
