The end of our Ethiopia trip. We just arrived back to Addis Ababa and will return to Germany in a few hours. Once again I am blown away by the diversity of the country. We started in the south, where we visited local tribes, such as the Surma, Hamar, Dassanech, Nyangatom to name a few. We camped in a few local villages outside of the usual tourist destinations. Incredible people, traditions and experiences with breathtaking images. To finish the trip off we stayed in the Simien Mountains National Park to take photos of the endemic gelada baboons and the walia ibex with only around 500 individuals left. Another success and we ticked off both species! Stay tuned for all the shots to follow! 😏 can’t wait to start sorting and editing. Also follow along @culture_ley to see all the different tribal photos we took. Finally to the image of the post – a throwback to 3 years ago where we were lucky enough to get the highly endangered Ethiopian wolf in front of our lens. There are only around 400 left… This was definitely not the last trip to this beautiful country! 🇪🇹
