This was a truly special moment. We did 5 western lowland gorilla trekkings in the deep jungle of the Central African Republic. Every single one of them was so different. This was our last one. The guide told us that one of the gorillas just had a newborn, the trekkers saw it for the first time earlier this morning. The mother was extremely protective and always hiding it and moving further away from the rest of the group. Nevertheless we got this one special shot, where the mother laid on its back and the baby was nursing. It’s so rare to see such a young baby in the wild. 😍 I wish everyone a lovely Sunday and third advent! 🎄🎅🏻
