High up in the canopy at @cristalinolodge you encounter some unique bird life, such as this curl-crested aracari. It is endemic to the south-western section of the Amazon basin. We went early in the morning to one of the two observation towers. 50m high up with high humidity and biting flies, nevertheless worth it. All the birds we saw were first offs. The trees are typically 25-45m in height, so the towers are ideal to observe.
