A beautiful rockhopper penguin photographed in puerto deseado. Still can’t believe how lucky we were. We were a few weeks too early for the rockhopper penguins, going to an island where Magellanic penguins and them would breed. Our guide already told us that we won’t see any because they will only start arriving within the next weeks. However next to hundreds of Magellanic penguins we found a total of one early rockhopper. Someone has to be the first… 🎉
