Time to reveal the location. We spent the last 10 days at @sangha_lodge in the Congo basin, in the Central African Republic. It’s an incredible place and I’m excited to say it will count as one of our best trips ever.

It’s such a remote and wild place. From numerous hikes through the impressive rainforests, net hunting with the local Ba’aka tribe, observing the elusive forest elephants at Dzanga-Sangha Bai to a total of 5 western lowland gorilla trekkings. Above you can see “Makumba” (stands for “speed”) the strong silverback of the group we visited. .
