We waited at this guanaco carcass for the puma family to arrive again. We were lucky! To the background: The mother took the guanaco down and then the entire family feeds on the kill for multiple days. They always hide the carcass under small bushes or cover it with grass in order to protect it from birds of prey like the condors or caracaras. Torres del Paine is definitely the best place to enjoy these beautiful cats.
