My closest grizzly encounter. We were in a small boat paddling down a river and bumped into this impressive male grizzly. He was peacefully fishing in the water and caught a salmon right in from of our boat. He even got closer than the focus area of my lens. Incredible experience. The male is know as “bent ear” in the area. Tweedsmuir is the ideal place for grizzly photography! 😍
